Little Adam’s Peak

A hike to Little Adam’s peak sometimes also called Mini Adam’s Peak is one of the most popular activities to do while in Bandarawela, due to the mountain’s resemblance to the sacred Adam’s Peak, it was named ‘Little Adam’s Peak’. The mountain is 1141 metres high, offering stunning views of the landscapes all the way to the top, making it the perfect trek. During the hike, you pass through paddy fields, waterfalls and the greenest of tea plantations. The trek can be achieved in 30-45 minutes from the entrance or 60-80 minutes from the very centre of the township depending on one’s fitness levels. Aiming to start your hike early on in the morning is highly recommended along with carrying plenty of sunscreen and bottled water.
